Information we get from Spotify when you log in:

- Email: Your Spotify email address is collected for cases where we need to reach our users for urgent communication. Also in case you need to contact us the email can be used to find your records.

- Spotify Username: Your Spotify username is stored so that we can find your information from our systems in case you need to contact us.

- Spotify Display Name: Your Spotify display name is used for permanent matches, to show the matched user who they are chatting with.

- Spotify id: Your Spotify identifier is used to uniquely identify you in our systems. It is used to, for example, make sure that we don't you with yourself.

- Your currently playing song: When using our website/app we monitor the currently playing song, to be able to match you with other users. This is the very key functionality of our website.

Information that is collected when you use the system:

- Session details, such as IP-address, browser type, screen resolution, are collected for analytics purposes, to help us understand how the website is being used, and thus help us make the website better.

- Chat messages: When using the chat, messages you send and receive are collected to fulfill all the required laws and policies. Your messages will never be shared publicly or read by anyone not authorized to do so.

- Matches: Matches are collected to help us improve the matching algorithm.
